Omg lah i think even though the math papers were relatively easy, I lost some marks due to careless mistakes...let's hope i don't lose more than 10 marks...

Oh yeah...I don't know if i should buy a DSi or a PSP Lite & Slim/Brite...

I added my tribute poem [which is also in the Talking about my generations book] to my blog at the side scroller. The inspiration was actually from a manga [yes, very expected] fruits basket, where the mother says, "To leave or be left behind, I wonder which is more painful..."

This poem has added more meaning to my life because a few months back, a cboxer on vnmanga died in a car crash. If you guys noticed, his nick on the cbox is gin, which is why i left "May angels lead you in; gin" on my msn pm for so long...may angels lead you in are actual lyrics and title of a nice song...gin was a nice guy...

I don't think I can expect much out of the exams.

The exams were relatively easy and I just had to screw it up.

God, I pray that you will let me finish HC and Maths Paper 2 with no regrets.

If I get all A1s for my subjects, it will be a miracle.

ARGH ARGH ARGH I WANNA PUNCH MYSELF IN THE FACE!

I knew that enzymes work in acidic conditions...but then i thought ITS THE MOUTH FOR GOODNESS SAKE IT DOESNT TASTE LIKE ACID [eg vommit that has hydrochloric acid and lime and lemon etc]

What is wrong with me?! Why did i have to change that freaking answer?!

the enzyme works in a 5.6-6.9 range pH in the mouth..so by inference inorder for the enzyme to be reactive with starch and not the acid/s creating the weakly acidic environment salivary amylase must be non-polar (neither acid or base). Also on this site pH is not included in the info sheet on human salivary amylase. The pH range of the mouth is 5.6-6.9 slightly acidic, and the average body temp is 37 deg C- this is the environment in which human amylase is most active.
